IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The application process for the 2022/2023 academic year concerning students holding a foreign qualification will begin on october the first.
1st year undergraduates (Licence): Preliminary Admission Request (DAP)
The Preliminary Admission Request procedure concerns all foreign students from outside the European Union, the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation with foreign upper secondary school qualifications, applying for the first time as a first year undergraduate (Licence) or to a Specific Medical Access Programme (PASS) in a French university.
Applicants may choose up to three degree programs offered by the same university or different universities (in which case, the candidate must submit all 3 applications to all 3 institutions at the same time). Candidates must, however, ensure their study plans are consistent. The candidate's application is examined by a special commission. We are unable to provide the candidate with any information regarding the acceptance of their application or otherwise before this commission has met.
Important: the institution's response to the preliminary admission request is only valid for the academic year indicated in the application.
Two types of DAP forms exist:
the "green form" if you are a resident in France,
the "white form" if you are a resident abroad.
As part of this procedure, all candidates without exception must pass a paid language test, the "Test of French for the DAP" (TCF-DAP), in order to assess their ability to pursue their studies in French. The price of the TCF-DAP is €73 for the 2022campaign.
Important: the DAP procedure is subject to a very strict timetable: the application form must be obtained from 1 October onwards and submitted by 15 December 2021 at the latest.
The application must be sent to:
