The MEnS network, founded in September 2017 with the support of the Conference of University Presidents, brings together French higher education institutions committed to welcoming and supporting students and researchers in exile.

Today, the network brings together 40 institutions, including the University of Clermont Auvergne, which has been a member since March 2019, as well as 7 partners or overseeing bodies of these institutions (MESRI, AUF, ENIC-NARIC, CROUS, PAUSE, RESOME, Campus France).

The objective of this network is to advocate to public authorities, raising awareness about the situation of migrants, and to develop initiatives aimed at improving their integration (access to education, diploma recognition, French language courses, coordination of actions at local and national levels, etc.).

Working groups have been organized around key issues, enabling national actors to meet, exchange information, and share best practices.
