Online application process
If your university has an agreement with the University of Clermont Auvergne you may be selected to come and study as an exchange student. Several international programmes may enable you to visit as an Erasmus student, under a bilateral agreement or as part of the BCI programmes with Quebec in Canada.

How and when to submit your application: key steps
Step 1
First you must contact the international office of your home university and ask them how to apply for an exchange programme. Be aware that a B2 level of French may be required to follow some classes. UCA will help you to register for French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classes if needed. FLE classes are free for exchange students studying at UCA.
Step 2
After being selected and nominated by your home institution, you will have to complete our online application form, which will be sent to you by UCA.For the 2024/25 academic year, the deadlines for application are as follows:
- Autumn semester & Academic Year: 31 May 2024
- Spring semester: 15 November 2024
Step 3
The online application form must be completed with the following documents:
- for non-Erasmus+ mobilities, your Learning Agreement duly completed and signed by the tutor responsible for the exchange in your home institution
[for Erasmus+ mobilities, you must fill in your Online Learning Agreement (OLA)] - A mobility certificate;
- The accommodation reservation form if you are interested in university accommodation;
- A copy of your ID (identity card or passport);
- An ID photo.
Step 4
We will send you a letter of acceptance and a response regarding university accommodation if you requested it in July.Please note that your home university as well as UCA must be informed of any modification or cancellation of your visit!
