If your university has an agreement with Clermont Auvergne University, you may be eligible to study as an exchange student. Several international programs can facilitate your exchange, such as Erasmus, a bilateral agreement, or the BCI program with Quebec in Canada...

You can view the list of UCA's partner universities by clicking here.

Step 1

First, you must contact the international office at your home university to inquire about the application process for an exchange program. Please note that a B2 level in French may be required to attend certain courses. UCA will assist you in enrolling in French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses if needed. FLE courses are free for exchange students coming to UCA.

Step 2

After being selected and nominated by your home university, you will need to complete our online application form, which will be provided to you by UCA.

For the 2024/25 academic year, the application deadlines are as follows:

  • 1st semester (S1) and academic year: May 31, 2024
  • 2nd semester (S2) : November 15, 2024

Step 3

The online application form must be completed with the following documents:

  • For non-erasmus+ mobility, you completed and signed Learning Agreement by the responsible teacher at your home university
[for Erasmus+ mobility, you must fill out your Learning Agreement online (OLA / Online Learning agreement)]
  • A mobility certificate
  • The accomodation reservation form if you are interested in university housing
  • A copy of your identity document (ID card or passport)
  • A passport-sized photo

Step 4

You will receive an acceptance letter as well as a response regarding university housing if you made a request, typically in July.

Please note that any changes or cancellations to your stay must be notified to both your home university and UCA.
