Scientific Integrity Part: this teaching aims to develop a sense of responsibility and to measure the risks of drift in research. Breaches of scientific integrity will be illustrated with examples and certain rules to prevent breaches of scientific integrity (links and conflicts of interest, lack of impartiality in scientific expertise, scientific misconduct and fraud, etc.) will be specified. The steps in the conduct of honest and responsible research will be described. Ethical issues will be briefly addressed.
Open Science Part: The context and stakes of free access to publications and scientific publishing will be described as well as the place of open science in each step of the research process, from the elaboration of your scientific approach to the dissemination of its results (publications, sharing and opening of data).
This module will take place in the form of practical and interactive workshops. The Open Science component will be carried out with the support of the UCA's digital library.
