Recommendations from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE)

For the organization of your internship and throughout its duration, the intern must comply with the recommendations outlined on this site, particularly considering the specific risks related to the political and/or social context, such as security risks for travelers or the current health and medical situation.

The following decisions are established for the Clermont Auvergne University:

  • GREEN Zone ("normal vigilance"): Internships are authorized, provided the security guidelines of the MEAE are followed.
  • YELLOW Zone ("reinforced vigilance"): Internships are authorized, provided the security guidelines of the MEAE are followed.
  • ORANGE Zone ("discouraged except for imperative reasons"): Internships are not authorized, even if the student is a national of the country.
  • RED Zone ("strongly discouraged"): Internships are not authorized, even if the student is a national of the country.
You can consult travel advice and risks by country on the Ministry's website: https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/conseils-par-pays-destination/

Once your internship abroad has been found and approved (according to MEAE zones), you must:

  1. Complete an internship agreement or "pre-agreement" form, which can be obtained from your Internship Office/International Relations Office.
  2. Have the form signed by your academic supervisor.
  3. Provide the required documents.
  4. Start reviewing the eligibility criteria for mobility scholarships.
